EuroSiS project aims to:
- create a lively operating network of SiS NCPs in order to produce (though the networking events) common ideas and proposals in a form of feedback to the Commission for the future calls of the already existing advisors and national representatives of each country.
- create a common understanding of the SiS for all the participating countries in order the interested organization for participation in the FP7 will have the same / similar opportunities and information.
- demonstrate to the SiS NCPs (mainly the less experienced) the opportunities that a Network is offering through the enrichment of their experience during the cooperation and the exchange of good/best practices. Hence they will be informed and be awared about activities, events and the most important methodologies that are available and used by several experienced NCPs not only in the SiS.
- leverage and improve the activities of SiS NCPs
- support and facilitate the submission of proposal from all the participating countries that could help the raise of the quality of content (events, activities ect.), so to assure that all the projects will fulfill the Program's objectives.
- demonstrate the future possibilities that the SiS NCP Network could experience through the well organised framework that is going to be established during the projects lifetime.
- bring together NCPs teams from a wide range of expertise, education and cultural fields to look into the future and to share their visions to what the target groups in each country could need to get informed for.
- enhance cooperation among the NCPs and their institutions for the serving countries organisation and to get them more involved in the SiS program and of course in a more effective way. So all the potential proposers (organisations) will benefit by the simplification of the access to FP7 calls, lowering the barriers for the newcomers and raising the average quality of the submitted proposals.
- contribute to the development of a new generation of citizens who are scientifically literate and thus better prepared to function in a world that is increasingly influenced by science and technology.
